Before you ask, no, I'm not quite sure what exactly he is. I was inspired by hearing about someone's halloween costume, being 'a faceless man in a black suit.'

From there he just got weirder. 

Also, it's terribly fun to have a character that is nearly completely silhouette with no facial expressions. It really forces you to consider how your character should be posed to convey emotion.

BEAUTIFUL KNEE! (and Silas too)

First off- Rude doing some BEAUTIFUL KNEE!

...Really it's just a pose my brother struck and I told him to hold it. Then rotation, speedlines and BAM! BEAUTIFUL!

NOW THIS! This is what I'm really kinda proud of tonight. I realized earlier today that for some reason none of my characters have foreheads. And they all have really long faces. People seemed to think that this was a stylistic choice on my part.

It was not. :|

So I'm sort of trying to adjust some character designs to include foreheads. Silas, being my wimpy ginuea pig, was up first. These are the most recent tries (the first ones were hastily baleeted due to ULTIMATE SUCK) and by God, I do believe he looks better than ever. (Though input is always appreciated in these things!)

(Also the shirtless image of him turned out pretty good, I think, considering my shaky, shaky grasp on torso anatomy.)

So I found this great little exercise over on DeviantArt and decided to give it a go. I definitely recommend it, it's a lot of fun to do and great practice! 

I may go back and fix this up later, as well as redo a couple of the expressions (like tired Dx)

Today's best Sketch. Redux to two characters, Jack and Padget. I really like how Jack face turned out, though the two of them stylistically don't really match very well.

Spin! How I've missed you! Her head's a bit big, and her general pose is all sorts of weird. But Oh well, I still sort of like it.

Sketchdump Time!

Just a whole bunch of random photoshop doodles. The tops ones are basically the redesign of Kaz, the bottom two being Matt (because gosh I love drawing him) and practicing drawing Riley (who is a pain).

TDTESS - "Concept Art"

A piece of "concept art" done for class. I'm happy about some of it, and disappointed with most, but for getting 95% of it done in one day I suppose it's not terrible! I think my favorite part might be the shading on the alien. My least favorite- The style and composition of all those crosses.

New characters (What? AGAIN?)
All the characters I design tend to be so serious business. I wanted to do something with more silliness/bromance/lolz.
Despite Matt and Duckie looking pretty stern in this picture, the whole thing is just silliness. Hopefully I'll stick with this one, yeah?
